What is the Guildhouse Cosplay Crunch Time Workshop?
The Guildhouse Cosplay Crunch Time Workshop is an opportunity for cosplayers to come together and work on any cosplay pieces they've been procrastinating on. Think of it as a big study group, but instead of studying, everyone is working on their cosplays!
We’ll have a few games, plenty of tables, tons of outlets, and other resources set up so everyone can both get their projects done and hang out.
This is a super casual event! There will also be a presentation hosted by a local cosplayer on “Cosplaying on a Budget” with a Q&A at the end, so don’t miss out!
What tasks are we anticipating people working on in the space?
Wig Styling
Prop Making
Sewing
What is NOT allowed in the space?
Dremeling foam
Spray Paint
Materials that require proper ventilation (Contact cement for example)
Power tools/Dremels
Sanding
Airbrushes and/or alcohol-based pigments
If you bring any of these items or perform any of activities we have requested that you don’t, you may be asked to leave. The space has very poor ventilation.
What is Guildhouse providing?
A well lit space
Multiple Large Tables
Power Strips/Extension Cords
Full body mirror
Scissors (no X-ACTO knives)
Buckets and water for paint
Cardboard galore (free for the taking)
Trash Cans
Do I need to reserve a space?
Space reservations are only available to Guildmembers. Guildmembers will also be provided a few materials for their own exclusive use. For everyone else participating, all table space and equipment will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
